FETAL GROWTH AND ITS DISORDERS
RATIONALE
Fetal growth disorders may be
associated with significant fetal morbidity. Each year, about one-fifth of the
almost 4 million in infants in the United States are born at the low and high
extremes of fetal growth.
GOALS

Understand the magnitude of fetal growth
disorders and their different etiologies

Utilize the basic diagnostic tools and recognize
the problems of fetal growth disorders
