RATIONALE
Congenital fetal anomalies are an important factor contributing to perinatal
mortality and morbidity. Prenatal detection of congenital malformations is an
integral part of antenatal care. Furthermore, routine examination of the
neonate is important for early detection of congenital anomalies.
