It is important for medical graduates to recognize the embryology of the different parts of the female genital tract in order to understand their developmental origin and interrelationship.

By the end of this course, the student will be able to:

l Mention the types of mullerian anomalies and their clinical presentation
l Mention the different investigations for the diagnosis of congenital anomalies
l Recognize different mullerian anomalies in hysterosalpingogram (HSG)
