PUBERTY
RATIONALE
Puberty is the condition of having become
functionally capable of procreating offspring. In other words, it is the
period of life during which secondary sexual development occurs, the sex
organs mature, and reproductive capacity is attained. Girls reach puberty 2
years before boys.
