Vaginal discharge is one of the most common problems encountered in office gynecologic practice. Graduates must know the source component and characteristics of normal vaginal discharge, as well as the various causes, diagnosis, and management of abnormal vaginal discharge. This knowledge must include simple office diagnostic tools.
