BREAST EVALUATION FOR GYNECOLOGISTS
RATIONALE
The most challenging and important task facing obstetricians and gynecologists
in the evaluation of breast symptoms is the diagnosis of a dominant breast
mass. The use of sophisticated diagnostic tools to assure the patient of the
nature of the breast mass is not required.
GOAL
Understand the common breast disorders inducing both
benign and malignant lesions
